Discover the various volunteer involvement opportunities

Through the activities it undertakes, the Youth Collective fulfills its mission of integration, participation, and training, thanks to the contributions of several dozen engaged and dynamic members. Members can contribute to organizing activities according to their desired level of involvement.
Member of the Executive Committee
Role of the Executive Committee

  • Organize the assemblies of the Youth Collective, including setting the agendas.
  • Ensure the implementation of decisions made by the assembly.
  • Oversee the hiring and supervision of staff.
  • Monitor the progress of permanent or temporary committees established by the assembly.
  • Receive membership applications from new members and recommend their adoption to the assembly.
  • Welcome new members and facilitate everyone’s participation in the Youth Collective.
  • Propose and implement an annual action plan based on the priorities established by the assembly.
  • Prepare and monitor the annual budget approved by the assembly.
  • Support the assembly in conducting an annual review and evaluating the work and functioning of the Collective.
  • Ensure that democratic decision-making processes are established and followed, particularly for the allocation of funding to coordinated projects.
  • Propose a choice of trustee to the assembly based on received submissions (every 2 years).
  • Supervise the work of the trustee organization.
  • In collaboration with the trustee organization, ensure accountability to various funders.
  • Designate signatories for all legal documents.
The Executive Committee may delegate some of its tasks to the staff of the Youth Collective (coordination or other tasks).

Time commitment: 

  • 1 meeting of 3 hours every 2 months. 
  • Reading documents and communications between meetings: 2 hours/month
Event Volunteer

  • Be available to perform various tasks on the day of the event, such as welcoming participants, checking attendance, or handling other requests.
  • Participate in event preparation meetings, if applicable.
  • Contribute to the promotion and success of the event.
Time Commitment: 

  • Occasional involvement, depending on the volunteer’s availability and current events.
